What's Coolors?
Coolors is a fast and easy tool that let you generate beautiful color palettes.
How does it work?
Just press the spacebar to get a new 5-colors palette. Click on the lock icon to keep the colors you like and repeat the process until you have the perfect colors combination that match your needs.
Can start with my own colors?
Sure just type in your colors in the format you prefer (HEX, RGB, HSB, CMYK, etc.), lock them and press the spacebar to get the remaining matching ones!
How do I adjust a color?
Click on the adjust icon right on the color and a popover appears. Then just regulate the values you like.
Can I work with monochromatic palettes?
Sure. Click on the settings icon and enable the 'monochromatic mode'.
How to get colors from an image?
You can either get one or more colors or generate an entire palette from a photo. Just click on the camera icon. Then you can both load your images or paste a remote image url to work with.
I have my palette. How do I adjust its brightness or saturation?
You can do it from the refine popover. Once you're satisfied with the result, lock the colors you want to refine (so lock all the 5 colors for the entire palette) and click on the arrows for the parametes you want to adjust. You can modify hue, saturation, brightness and even temperature.
How to export a color scheme?
Just click on the Export button. You can export to PDF, PNG, SCSS, SVG and even Copic markers. Click on the URL button to copy and share your palette link.
How to save a color palette?
To save your palettes just create a profile. Then click on the Save button and choose your palette name and tags.
How to save or export a color scheme?
Just move the mouse over it and click on the Save or Export button.
How to edit a palette?
Just move the mouse over it and click on the View button to open the palette into the generator.
Can I filter the results?
Sure. Just type your search criteria (e.g. pastel, blue, dark, mono, etc.) into the filter input to get only the matching palettes.
How to view a user's profile?
Click on the tiny user's image near the palette name.
How to list my palettes?
If you have saved a brand new palette and your profile is not setted as private your palettes will be listed in the Latest section.
How to change email?
Just go on the Account page, change your account email and confirm it with the received code.
How to change my password?
Just go to the Account page, type your current password and your new password.
I have lost my password. How do I reset it?
In the Login window, click on the circular arrow near the password field and follow the instructions.
How do I close my account?
Go to the Account page, scroll to the bottom and click on Delete Account. This is definitive and all your profile info and all your palettes will be removed.

How do I create my profile?
Go to the Account page, select the Profile tab and provide your info.
How to keep my profile private?
Go to the Account page, select the Profile tab and scroll to the Private Profile section.
What Adobe apps does the add-on support?
The Coolors add-on is designed to work with Photoshop and Illustrator from the CC version.

Can I browse the palettes I saved?
Sure. You can login into your account and browse all your palettes. You can also filter them by tag name.

How do I use a palette colors?
Once you like a color scheme you can click on a color to use it as primary color or press shift+click to use it as secondary color.
Can I import all palette colors into my swatches panel?
Yes. Just move the mouse over your pakette and click on the Actions button.
